Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e. V. (German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics) code of conduct
We also take our social responsibility seriously in our cooperation with our suppliers. We therefore became the first company within the packaging industry to commit to the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V. (BME) code of conduct. The BME is an alliance of around 7,500 German companies in the procurement sector. We have integrated the BME values and principles into our day-to-day work within the company and take part in an annual self-disclosure process.
We expect our direct suppliers to comply with the BME code of conduct and to pass on corresponding recommendations to their own suppliers.
