Code of conduct

Consistent values. Reliable orientation.

We act fairly and reliably. For a trustful relationship.

Bischof+Klein Code of Conduct

As a company, we bear responsibility – for our team, our partners, the environment, and society. Our compliance management system helps us to meet the necessary legal, ethical, and social requirements as well as our own high standards – both today and in the future.

Our Bischof+Klein code of conduct not only expresses our fundamental values, our guidelines, and our understanding of ethics and compliance. The code of conduct also serves as a binding set of rules that provides us and our business partners with orientation for acting in a correct and responsible manner. Bischof+Klein is additionally committed to the codes of conduct of the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) and the German Association of the Plastics Converters (GKV).

Whoever works together with us knows that they can trust us. In the form of the Bischof+Klein compliance notification body, we have established a whistleblower system via which employees, customers, suppliers, business partners, and third parties can confidentially report violations of our code of conduct or statutory regulations.

Bischof+Klein whistleblower system: reporting violations – personally or anonymously

What can and should I report?

Have you become aware of incidents or business practices undertaken by Bischof+Klein or Bischof+Klein employees and are you uncertain as to whether they are compatible with the statutory regulations or our code of conduct? Then please let us know.

Why is it important to report incidents?

Together, we bear responsibility for Bischof+Klein’s integrity and good reputation. We can only react immediately and avert or mitigate damage if we find out about problems and violations. No matter whether you are our employee, our customer, or our business partner, we are therefore counting on your cooperation in all of our interests.

How does the notification process work?

We are always personally open to your criticism. It is best if you discuss the problem directly with your contact at Bischof+Klein so that a solution can be found quickly and without delay.

However, we are well aware that there are situations in which the persons concerned do not want their names to become known. Our notification body therefore also accepts anonymous notifications. We have engaged a legal ombudsman (trusted attorney) who will handle your tip-offs in absolute confidentiality. You can communicate openly with him, stating your name and your contact details. This enables queries concerning the facts, which is often helpful for the further process. If you wish, your identity will be protected and not disclosed to our company.

If you do not wish to reveal your identity to our trusted attorney, you can also submit your tip-off anonymously via our online whistleblower portal.

Our trusted attorney’s contact details are as follows:

As a whistleblower, you are subject to protection both by our company and by the German Whistleblower Protection Act. We have faith that no tip-offs will be submitted with dishonorable intentions.
